March 10, 2011: Nanay got transferred to Loma Linda Hospital for her surgery. For what exactly? Something in her cardiovascular system. Not too sure. Thanks for all the love and support from everyone <3 I really do appreciate, it makes my day.
But the exactly 4 days ago, the doctor at the previous hospital (Rancho Springs) had told us, “She only has 24 hours to live.” Everyone was asking, why what’s the problem? And basically the doctor said, “Well, she had a heart attack. And you know what that means.. It’s kind of like guaranteed to have another one. We have no specialists here on cardiovascular surgery, so we can’t do anything.. besides put her on morphine.” My family straight up said, “We are not going to give up on my mom. We don’t care if she’s going to have another heart attack. She’s not going to have one right now, so we’re not going to give up on her now. We are not gonna just let her sit here and die, with no other options. Did you know that we recently just lost our dad too? That’s the first major death our family has had to deal with, and we don’t want to live through that again.” And the doctor, started saying, “Oh my misunderstanding, I’m so sorry. All we can really do for you, is transfer her to Loma Linda if you want further help.” So she got transferred. And now.. today, she’s going to be able to come home soon <3 She’s on her feet, walking around here and there. She just needs a couple more tests and she’s home bound.
I love you Nanay, and I knew you could fight through. I appreciate you, so much. And honestly, I hate seeing you like this.. so please, no more hospital visits for a while. I love you, and see you again tmrw! Keep those prayers strong please :)
